Wild and garden poppies are irresistible to many. The plant signature reading of this flower in itself is interesting: there is fire and air combined in one. While poppy has long been associated with its narcotic and sleep-inducing properties, flower essences made from poppies are, in Ava's experience, about something else: they regulate the fire element or the fire-air balance.
Issues around sexuality, intimacy problems, anxiety about sex, body image issues; for the person who is painfully shy, unadventurous, or hides in dark or drab clothes; on a physical level: eating disorders stemming from dislike for one's body.
This pale orange poppy is a delicate yet agile ballet dancer: on the one hand self-conscious and not feeling as attractive or as perfect as he or she would like to be; yet on the other hand feeling the inner pull to dance for the world, for the public. This essence has a particular affinity for sexuality, for people who would like to be bolder or more adventurous in their sex lives, and it can help with anxiety around matters of sex. We also highly recommend this essence for someone who would like to come out of the closet.
Consider this essence for eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia, or compulsive eating.
