Horse Chestnut Flower Essence

Pacific Northwest Essences

Horse Chestnut Flower Essence

Sold out

Horse chestnut, which Ava used to create this fortifying essence, is a big tree that grows fast. Everything about horse chestnut is big and feisty—the trunk, the leaves, even the flowers.

Indications

Low appetite, underweight, slow growth in children, growing pains, malnutrition, poor nutrient absorption or digestion, low vitality, low mood from poor eating habits or from physical depletion, adrenal exhaustion, chronic fatigue, low physical stamina.

Emotional and spiritual effects

While we mainly use horse chestnut essence for the physical concerns described below, this essence can also be transformative on an emotional and spiritual level. We recommend trying it when one feels small and insignificant, as if too frail to function in society. The horse chestnut has a calming, reassuring, fatherly energy, and it moves our energy upward, which is helpful for a tendency toward depressive moods.

Physical plane

Horse chestnut is one of the best essence choices for children who are small, very slim, and poor eaters. Ava has relied on this essence in many client cases where the child was underweight and had a low appetite, or for any issues during growth spurts, such as moodiness or pain. We have also had success with this essence for adults who have a tendency to be underweight and who would like to achieve a healthy weight and gain more interest in food. For these concerns, Ava often recommends combining horse chestnut essence with, or taking it alongside, kabocha squash essence from our collection.
