Comfrey Flower Essence

Sold out

This flower essence was created from the thriving, five-foot-tall plants that planted themselves and grow on the property of one of our neighbors. The plants were calling to Ava from a few miles away, and after a long walk to visit them she found the flowers in full bloom, insisting that she make an essence from them.

Indications

History of trauma or abuse, memories of an unhappy or traumatic childhood, emotional scarring, a desire to retrieve a hazy memory, slowly healing wounds, a tendency toward scars, recovery from an accident or surgery.

Emotional and spiritual effects

Comfrey is used by herbalists to help people review and sort through their suppressed memories. The essence helps us heal old emotional wounds, and to leave painful memories behind.

Physical plane

Some flower essence therapists recommend using this essence internally (and in addition, drops may be added to skin care products or a bath) for physical complaints related to skin tissue regeneration and healing. Comfrey is widely used in post-surgery essence blends (often alongside St. John's Wort, calendula, and an essence of choice to uplift the spirit, such as borage, Wood's rose or another rose, sunflower, or buttercup). Also consider it for skin issues such as eczema, slow wound healing, and a tendency to get scars, as well as for recovery from an accident involving a fall or head injury.

Sources

Ava was initially influenced by David Dalton's work with this essence.

Grounding

i have been taking comfrey flower in conjunction with my custom blend essence from Ava. It has been grounding, calming and healing on all levels. A great essence for wound healing and scarring. I have found it to be extremely comforting in all aspects.
