This blend, formerly called Grandmother Willow, is a combination of eight essences from both flowers and crystals that Ava created with one overarching goal in mind: to help the current generation, who often grow up and live in isolation from older family members, rather than being part of a family group or clan that has held together for hundreds of years or longer. It is a remedy for the contemporary nomad who moves rather than staying rooted in the same town or village, and for the individualist or immigrant who has moved away from his or her ancestors' physical and cultural locale. Older ways of living in the same place and in a homogeneous cultural group for many generations meant that younger generations were exposed to the wisdom, comforting, and counsel of older generations. Every group member would imperceptibly and inadvertently inherit the collective wisdom of his or her people, place, and time through stories, folklore, holiday or funeral rituals, the games children played, and the advice given in times of struggle.
This blend includes essences from trees, flowers, two lichen, and one crystal that have energies of old-age wisdom, beyond-consciousness ancient wisdom, and Lemurian wisdom.
To achieve access to new learning and more wisdom from past generations, collective consciousness, nature, and the Lemurian civilization.
For the bereft, lost, lonely, or uprooted individual, the tree flower essences of weeping willow and mountain ash provide feelings of comfort, safety, protection, and grounding. Both the weeping willow and mountain ash have grandmotherly energy with a huge amount of compassion, and they help move the tears that need to flow out but have been blocked or stuck. Old man's beard lichen (usnea barbata), on the other hand, has a grandfatherly imprint and reminds us of acceptance and patience. Larkspur connects us to the animal spirit world in a mysterious way, provoking an awakening and alertness, and wolf lichen offers a connection to the wolf spirit and its stamina, courage, power, and protective instincts toward its group members. The borage flower has a long history of use in times of depression, dejection, and blues, and it helps us recover hope and optimism, and the Lemurian quartz essence links us to the spiritual achievements of the Lemurian civilization.
