Mountain Ash Flower Essence

Ava has been familiar with the mountain ash since her childhood in Poland, where they grow abundantly, but she always found this tree's energy to be rather grave, even when covered with red berries in fall and winter. It took a lot of growing up for her to realize that when she was a child she must have registered the strength of this tree's energy and got a taste of what the flower essence's potential could be. We don't need to be trained energy practitioners to feel the energy of a plant, but it helps to have the training and experience to understand what this type of vibration may mean, and how it can be used to benefit an individual as a flower essence.

Indications

Deep sadness; deep-seated sorrow, resentment, or suppressed anger that is felt deep within, though on the surface the person holds it together; a feeling of toxic energy that is lodged deep in the system and has been there for a long time; feeling stuck in a difficult, unsolvable life situation; persistent life problems; old grief or hurt that one is ready to let go of; old traumas that affect one's health or well-being many years later; subdued energy, as if one is carrying a heavy emotional burden; fear of death. On the physical plane: low immunity, a tendency to get sick often.

Emotional and spiritual effects

Mountain ash is a serious essence for someone who is ready to purge something toxic, bothersome, big, or heavy from their whole system (both the physical body and the aura). It could be a readiness to let go of emotional pain, deep sadness, or heartbreaking-yet-older grief and to forgive; or, on the contrary, to let out feelings of anger that were suppressed for a long time. Symbolically it is an essence for releasing big, heavy tears. Letting go of something overwhelming, big, and painful eventually leads to a rebirth.

It is also an essence for preoccupation with death and fear of death, and for a feeling that something toxic is lodged or stuck in one's body or aura. 

This is one of the few essences that we have found works powerfully through the environment and reaches more than just the person taking the essence, stirring the energy and moving it quickly to a resolution and improvement of life situations and relationships. For example, the essence taker may find that his or her parent who lives far away feels motivated to make positive changes in their relationship. But this may also mean that relationships that were doomed may move more quickly toward resolution. Some find that the essence in a closed bottle placed in a central place in the home creates positive shifts and relationship reconfigurations in all family members. It is a deep and wholly positive essence; it will not cause any harm or provoke changes we would later regret.

We don't recommend taking this essence internally during pregnancy or in an early stage of grief, as so much movement could feel too intense during an unstable and vulnerable time.

Directions

Shake the bottle before each use. Take 3 drops at a time onto the tongue or mixed with water 3–4 times a day, between meals and not with coffee.

Store away from sun exposure, excessive heat or cold, electronics, and strong scents. 

Ingredients

Water, gluten-free brandy (from grapes; a preservative), infusion of wild-grown mountain ash (Sorbus). Alcohol 22% by volume.
